Step 2: Marking the Bill (A4V)

Marking the bill correctly is one of the most important steps in the A4V process.

📌 What to Write on the Bill

You need to **properly endorse** the bill with the following:

✅ **Write "Accepted for Value"** in **red ink** at the top.
✅ **Write "Exempt from Levy"** in **red ink**.
✅ **Sign your name** in **blue ink**.
✅ **Write your Social Security Number (without dashes)**.
✅ **Date it** in blue ink.
